David Reif has been named the new Managing Editor of the journal BioData Mining.  

BioData Mining is an open-access, peer-reviewed, online journal encompassing research on all aspects of data mining applied to high-dimensional biological and biomedical data, focusing on computational aspects of knowledge discovery from large-scale genetic, transcriptomic, genomic, proteomic, and metabolomic data.

BioData Mining promotes principles of scientific transparency, including open-access, open peer-review, and data sharing. The Editors-in-Chief are Jason H. Moore (University of Pennsylvania) and Marylyn D. Ritchie (Pennsylvania State University).
